The ProLaser 4 is the latest generation high performance LIDAR from Kustom Signals, Inc. It is smaller, lighter, and three ways to power including 4 AA batteries. The LIDAR utilizes an infrared laser with a 1 milli-radian (1 foot) beam width at a range of 1000 ft. The Events feature allows the user to recall previous speed and range readings with a date and time stamp. The display lock and Events feature ensures the user never accidentally loses a speed measurement. The ProLaser 4 is ideally balanced with an ergonomic design that weighs only 2.5 pounds with batteries. The rugged aluminum housing protects the electronics and optics from rough handling while shielding the unit from unwanted RF interference better than competitive plastic units. The ProLaser 4 features a redesigned rugged, forward swept impact resistant Lexan® handle that reduces arm and wrist fatigue, thus allowing extended use. Each ProLaser 4 bundle includes 8 AA rechargeable batteries (4 of which are spares), charger, USB to PC interface cable, 12 VDC adapter, a hard carrying case, and standard three (3) year warranty.
